Signed on the front.
Original portrait of a most bold, shady tree with twisted limbs which sits across from the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia in the beautiful Heritage Alexandra Gardens (which were planned and laid out for the visit of the Duke of York in 1901).
It was painted in the beautiful reprieve of a warm Melbourne Spring.
This organic and fluid form brings the personality of a quiet piece of history forward, the art outside the gallery; a sculpture worthy of admiration.
