Ink yields little room for error which adds to the anxiety of every stroke. In these nude studies I am silencing the self criticism that often comes when trying to paint the subject to perfection, whilst indulging in the odd mistake that is brought by the black ink on the white paper. As I finished the nude, how I admired the beauty in the imperfections.
