Gio is a beautiful new painting from my Mid-Century series conveying the timeless quality of simplicity in form and colour to calm the mind and senses. Reminiscent of the screen printing textures of yesteryear, Gio captures the essence of Mid-Century's organic sculptural forms and clean lines.

Gio is named in honour of the Italian designer, architect and writer Gio Ponti, known for his innovative, sophisticated and 'democratic' designs. It's painted on stretched canvas with painted sides so it's ready to hang.
