Tether is a 30 x 41cm study from my new 2019 series 'Fresh'. This series of paintings were created while listening to music to explore the impact of different song styles on my work. The result is a fresh, loose style, rich in spontaneity and expression. These little paintings are named after the songs they were inspired by and will be will be translated on to larger works.

Tether is very textured and is a combination of earthy greens, mustard, khaki, sage and blue/grey. The painting extends around the 3.8cm sides of the canvas. This size is perfect for small spaces, to sit on top of a sideboard or can be hung as part of a collection.
