When I was on the beach looking at this scene I have painted, I though I could see lines of waves to the horizon. I imagined that this would be a tough paddle out. I was right, trying to get past these breakers took some effort, but it was worth the long ride to the beach. This painting is of the west coast of Tasmania, Australia.
