You know those days when you want a swim but the sea is a little too rough. This was one of them. I was on the West Coast of Tasmania on a rare hot day and wanted a swim but the ocean was too wild. The water was clear, the sky had moments of sunshine, but I sat on the beach and watched the rips push out to sea. This was the inspiration behind this painting.
