“I’ve always been fascinated with light. It’s ability to reflect and refract and bring a surface to life is the motivation behind my art. Initially my years in jewellery design afforded me the opportunity to create and share with others the way light danced in the facets of a gem. These days I find myself deconstructing, I love the outdoors particularly the ocean. The reflections on water are mesmerizing, the kaleidoscope of colours and flickering’s of precious metals are the inspiration behind my paintings. My intention is to convey that energy, sometimes gentle, sometimes violent, always captivating, always beautiful.”
