Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

This painting epitomes Edinburgh’s Old Town, with its quaint streets and mysterious closes. This particular scene is of a favourite old pub in James Close, just off The Royal Mile. I visited Edinburgh (my second home) in March 2020, just before lockdown, so this painting is particularly poignant, as now Australians are not allowed to travel for the foreseeable future... But we can still travel in our imaginations.
