Inspired by my love of the earth and what is under it. The patterns, the colours, the crystals, nature’s exquisite design that is inimitable by humans all give me a sense of tranquility and peace. Can anyone not be moved by the aeons of dust and rock underneath our soles as they ground our place on the planet? Resin is an exciting unpredictable medium that allows the artist a certain length of time to manipulate it to create cells and overlaps and mixing of colours until it begins to set, rendering it unusable any further. I love it. It is freeing and so expressive as a medium.
