Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

The impact of the 2020 bushfires was far reaching and took a toll on many Australians; this is my second work on that theme. It's an imagined abstract view of how the area would have looked if fire had burned to the edge of the water. It illustrates the contrast between the paradise on the left where I imagine many families would camp during the holidays and the devastation bushfire would leave on the opposite side of the creek.
Beautiful aquas and greens fight for dominance against the blackened tree stump.
