A favourite tourist destination in New Zealand showing the misty mountains in Queenstown watching over the willows providing intricate reflections of the tracery on Lake Wakatipu.
I sought to capture the unique colour of the water, unlike anything else I have ever seen.
The mist often comes down to the water obscuring the view of The Willows; this was lucky day!
A very peaceful painting, it would add great serenity to a room with soft colours to enhance any living space.
