Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Much of outback Australia remains in drought. While travelling through western Queensland, I encountered many dry creek beds. These appear as harsh desolate places, but are examples of a resilience and hardiness, having their own power. This painting is an expression of those collective memories and evokes a hard but familiar landscape known to many of us.
If you would like a similar artwork, differently sized, I'm available to take commissions.
