This work is a purely abstract piece about colour interaction. I've used three colours, magenta, yellow and orange, in varying amounts to act as contrasts to each other and bounce around the canvas. The background remains a light tone to facilitate this contrast and yellow seems to be the dividing factor through the mid of the artwork. To bring focus to particular areas of the painting I've used black in small amounts, and this assists in moving the eye around the canvas, from points of interest. The colours are upbeat and lively, creating a vibrant presence and energy to the work.
This painting would be suitable for an activity area of the home.
