Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

In this painting I'm acknowledging First Nations people, through their timeless presence in rock art, and also peoples of long ago from Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, in Neolithic and Paleolithic times. The power of these eternal signifiers on rock walls and in caves is recognition of what has gone before us. I painted this in a very abstracted manner using line and shape to infer writing or drawing. The primary colours are strong against a lighter background.
If you like this work, I'm available to make commissions in a size you require.
This medium sized artwork would suit a lively communal space.
