Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

Local landscapes, waterscapes and enticing views.
Simple yet effective, a floating litter trap and boom uses the tidal flow to collect debris. I love the simple technology of these collection traps and although often shocked by how much still washes into the rivers and canals, I admire their effectiveness. It could have marred the view from the pedestrian bridge at Hawthorne Canal, but in this case it served to help channel my line of sight to the sunlit boats and waters of Iron Cove, framed by the pylons and shadows of the A4 Motorway.
