Given that this year is the 100th year commemoration of Armistice Day, I thought that I would paint my very own tribute to our Diggers. There are 11 poppies to signify Remembrance Day. The small white dots signify the spirits of the ANZACS whose bodies lay in the fields on foreign soil. The red dots represents the fields of poppies. The 2 boomerangs represents the Ancestors of the Aboriginal Ancestors who went to seek the soldiers and brought their spirits back to Australia. Lest we forget.
