'We rode the sheep's back until we legalised greed then we ate it!'
I love the earthy tones in this painting, particularly the sky. I used light and perspective to give a sense of the sheep been 'on stage' while also being out in the open. He's still a happy sheep even though someone's taken a bite! This is a beautiful reproduction print of the original painting, check out the close up pictures to get an idea of the detail that is captured in the process. The weave of the canvas and my brush strokes are all visible with the colours being rich and vibrant. It's printed on one of the best quality papers on the market, 310gsm (thick) Museo cotton rag.
