Artwork Description

β€œFor me a landscape does not exist on its own right since its appearance changes at every moment, but the surrounding atmosphere brings it to life which gives subjects their true meaning.” – Claude Monet

This artwork is inspired by my visit to Monet's garden in Giverny, France. This wasn't a visit to see some pretty flowers, it was a visit to see how colours interact with each other. A bit like people watching: some colours just blend into the surrounding environment, some interact and form new relationships and some colours are in bloom to make point!
