I love the way the colours move in and out of each other, like some environmental weave of threaded colour, that then represents the way the clouds and waves move.

The painting is about a lovers kiss and the passion of being in love. I called it Forbidden because the faces are hidden behind the flowers.

I have often painted the Seaford pier. This sunset was during winter. The colours in the sky reflected in the water making the timber pier look cold in its purple and blue shadowed areas.
