Purple Rain a homage to prince song depicts the soft colours of the petals mixing with the purple rain drops. Petals are dancing in the sky creating their own song . Painted in thick impasto oil paints with a pallet knife and brush. I tried to capturing the beautiful rhythms of the petal movements, which makes them look like precious stones, stars in the sky, floating away. Hope with this s work it makes the viewer feel very peaceful and tranquil. This painting is signed and dated 2019 at the back of the painting and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
