Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Ned Kelly was painted as a part of a series of 10 portraits for a solo art exhibition 'under the influence' of people who have influenced the world. An Australian legend who did things no one else would dare. Uses brown earthy colours to represent the Australian open dusty land mixed with bright pinks and whites to give it the modern contemporary feel and representing the hipster of his time. Lots of texture and paint strokes in the beard because you gotta love that 2 year old on the run beard that every guy desires!
