Acrylic Paint on wood
Signed on the front.
Often I see these stunning civic spaces designed by Internationally acclaimed Architects, all in white and looking surreal. This one is no exception- a train station space designed be Santiago Calatrava (http://www.calatrava.com/), one of my favourties. The scene is from a movie I saw with the figures moving silently in and through the space like ships in the day.... I have added a pearl-effect painted area in the centre that depicts the light filled lower level space just beyond this first floor space. This is the 2nd of a series in mainly black and whites, greys and some metallics and pearl effects. More in the pipeline.
