Artwork Description

Reproduction Print on paper

Signed certificate of authenticity.

This is the third print in the series of fruit and vegetables from my garden. The persimmon is a most glorious fruit and this variety is eaten thoroughly soft and mushy. Its flavour is fantastic.
The colours of the fruit as it ripens lends itself to the reduction print technique I have used and in the making there are eleven layers of colours and the print took twelve days to complete as some colours were put on twice to improve their vibrancy.
The paper is Zerkall smooth 145 gsm. This is number 2 in a series of 13 prints.
