ABOUT THE PAINTING:
Thomas Turtle is the latest marine theme painting out of my studio. He is an Australian Green Turtle from the endangered Great Barrier Reef. In this painting he is happily swimming along just above the sea floor and is looking up towards the viewer as if saying hello.
The intricate details in this painting captures the grains of the sand on the sea floor, the lines and textures of Thomas's fins and shell, the fine lines of his skin folds and the bubbling water as he swims though the calm water.
Why ‘Thomas’ I hear you ask? Well, he’s just from my imagination but I do love to give my paintings rememberable names.
BTW: This artwork is a one-off original by me! It was created with love and lots of energy for the wonderful person who wants this vibrant artwork for a special room in their home or office.
ABOUT THE PAINTINGS QUALITY:
The canvas is artist grade gallery cotton with the following:
• Canvas Weight 380gsm - 100% Cotton Canvas
• 3 coats of Titanium White Acrylic Primed Gesso
• New Zealand Pine Kiln Dried Stretcher Bars 35mm deep
• Gallery stretched for painting on the canvas edge
• Double stapled on the back of the stretcher
The paint I use is also artist quality and the artwork is protected with 2 coats of Liquidex High Gloss Varnish.

The placement of the painting in the interior image may not be 100% to scale, but it does look amazing doesn’t it!
