I find the culture surrounding UFC entertaining, and terrifying in it's hyper-masculine aggression. This is one of a collection of UFC paintings that focus on the intimacy in the act of fighting, straddling violence and eroticism. Painted from a mirror in my bedroom using the Zorn Palette - Cadmium Red, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black and Titanium White.
