I am drawn to and fascinating by the formless swirls of water. All of my artwork in some way references or captures formless thing, free flowing and candid moments in nature or still life which somehow just are a composition without being arranged by the human hand.
I love the image of this figure standing adrift in the middle of an expanse of water, the blue and mauve swirls of a lake lay there while the clouds pass by over head.
I opted for a limited palette of blues and a touch of mauve or lilac was mixed to add some warmth and depth to the composition.
Painted on stretched cotton, gloss varnished and ready to hang on your wall with wire attached. Edges are painted white and framing is suggested.
