This print was taken from an original pastel artwork, which was inspired by a trip I did to Uluru two years ago with my daughter. I had always wanted to go there since I was young, but I was totally unprepared for my reaction when I got there. Flying in over Uluru, it didn’t look so big! But when we landed, and drove towards it, it’s size blew me away! We went to the sunset tour of Uluru, enjoyed drinks and nibblies, and watched the sun setting, and then thousands of lights came on from the art installation “Field of Light” .....as it got darker, it was like being in a giant cathedral, the stars were out, the lights were on, and the dark mass of Uluru was there in the background, almost a spiritual experience, which touched me deeply! I will never forget how special it was, and can only hope you feel some of that magic when you look at this artwork! If you’ve been to Uluru, or you’ve always wanted to go, this would be a wonderful purchase, and once framed, would look good in any room.....it looks almost magical with those lights twinkling away in the night! I can’t part with my original pastel work, so I decided to get GICLEE prints taken from it, only 25. This is No. 1 in the limited edition. I have shown it as is, and also with a frame and mat, which are not included and are for display purposes only, as it will require framing.
