A texture canvas with Payne’s gray as the base which is then broken down with each layer of new color in a variety of Matt and heavy body medium to give Loads of contrast and small section of mesh imbedded into the piece. Transparent and semi transparent color vails to complete and balance the color breaks that still allow the underpainting layers to show. Please note: I have enclosed a picture of a pair which can be done on request.
The gold sections are in gloss with the rest in a Matt finish. Side finished in black.
