Growing up with a large vegetable garden and being surrounded by fruit trees was so special especially when it came time to picking the ripe fruit or unearthing the vegetables. Our neighbours had chickens, so fresh free range eggs were part of our diet. My still life captures this most wonderful memory and is a tribute to my childhood growing up with fresh produce everyday.
