Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

“Saturday Afternoon Gum” came about when my husband and I went on one of our highly enjoyable Saturday bike rides. It was a beautiful spring afternoon and we were discovering a new bike track when we came across some local flowering gum trees. Taken aback by the pops of colour again the muted Australian greens, I knew my next painting would have to feature these beauties.
