While being Artist in the Park for 2018, I was fascinated by these tiny birds with all the gorgeous colours and variety. A fleeting, twitching bird that is hard to capture in a photo. It is also an Australian Endangered bird which is why I painted this for the Threatened Species Exhibition in 2018.
