This painting was inspired by a recent painting trip to Greece. Sailing through the Ionian Sea and exploring the turquoise caves, one could feel the history and mythological tales of Greece very acutely. By painting this scene, I wanted to feel as if i was there once again with the hope that my viewers felt the same.
