This little painting was inspired by the sand dunes opposite Diamond Island in Bicheno, Tasmania. The scenery was breathtaking as was the contrast of white sand against the receding, stormy sky. There is a sense of mystery over the top of the sand dune which leaves the interpretation open to the viewer. I love being able to engage my audience and make them wonder where the meandering path will lead.
