Its a play on words! I'll leave you to work it out. Often when painting these fun images I'm led off in a direction I didn't expect. "Shardonnay Mountain" did just that. It was a little more difficult than normal which made me look and think harder. Sometimes, a painting like this one will end up scrapped but I managed (without recourse to chardonnay!) to find a landscape. I hope you enjoy this imagined world.
