This piece is the 1st painting in a series of Japanese Koi carp swimming in a pond. Heavy bodied acrylic paint was applied to the canvas with a combination of palette knife and fingers to create deep texture.
The painting is sealed with two coats of varnish. It is wired on the back and ready to hang!
