A post-storm seascape scene is definitely on of my favourites to capture, especially in varied and sometimes unlikely hues that nature throws up. These types of loose paintings force me to let go of all the control that the biological art requires. This is one of my first, and one of my favourite oil paintings. It's full of subtle hue changes and layers, and provides something new to discover every time it's looked at.
