Eagle Owl was painted as part of a series of owl paintings which began with my first solo show called Weird ,Wise and Wonderful that was held in Pete Martin Galleries. I visited the Melbourne Museum and saw one of these wonderful owls and was really impressed by it's size and formidable presence.
