Contemporary Australian Landscape. Influenced by David Hockney's landscapes. This is part of a series of paintings based on my local drives throughout the Noosa Hinterland, Qld. Most of the drives pass Cooroy Moutain. Cooroy is the Aboriginal name for Possum. The countryside is usually lush and green with pockets of native vegetation, including grasses and remnant rain forest.
