Cooroy (Possum) Mountain was originally painted for my The Road Across The Range series of paintings. Cooroy is derived from an Aboriginal word for possum. This painting is the second and larger version of the original painting. I am influenced by many artists work, however I was particularly attracted to Pop artist David Hockney's wonderfully colour filled landscapes.
