In keeping with the long-standing tradition of flowers as symbols associated with femininity my
paintings use floral compositions to create female portraits which reveal unique individual personalities emphasizing the eccentric compositions that are profound, evocative, sensual and sometimes humorous.

My paintings are filled with colour and mood with a perceived fragrance of flowers that seems to permeate the character of the females portrayed. In each portrait painted flowers merge into shapes that magically associate themselves with other objects to create a recognizable but quirky impression of the feminine form.
