We are represented through our choice of words, though ironically the picture we paint can be oftentimes dishonest.
Our discourse is coloured by a need to project a façade; framing ourselves idyllically, or masking our failings in sleight of truth.
My glass is half full (but I’m balancing on a knife’s edge) – is a commentary on the interplay of contemporary consumerism within these false narratives, where I invite the viewer to laugh at the absurd contrast and empathise with its irony.
