Ash King is a visual artist and writer who creates works evoking emotional catharsis, visual poetry and celebration of the feminine.
Growing up a passionate musician, she worked as a professional singer for a number of years before an unfortunate accident left her unable to sing. Since then, she has come to find her voice once more in the colours and textures of the canvas. Ash loves to let her work exist as a celebration of the infinite, an exploration of the power of the human mind, an ode of kindness to her former self and a testament that our journeys never come to an end - but merely change course.
Ash also works as a content writer and blogger for Sydney mental health organisation, The Indigo Project.
With every artwork purchase, Ash will donate $100 to Lou's Place, a community-based refuge for women in crisis, who are homeless, feeling isolated or need support. By purchasing her art, you are also helping fund an art exhibition she hopes to hold at the start of 2020.
