About the Artist

Wendy Orange is the female alter ego of George Hall.
Not a lot is known of her, except she shares the same name as George’s mother.
She does have things to say about herself… endlessly in fact, but we are not too sure how accurate these are.

Wendy hates vacuum cleaner and computers, so she relies on the ever-patient George Hall to run her marketing. She paints beautifully and is a free spirit often not worrying about outcomes. Wendy is in constant contact with George Hall who can action any requests for commissions.

'Currarong Positive View' has been released as a photographic limited edition print of 1 - 35 only. This print is a meaningful expression of the harmonious convergence of land and sea. This unique artwork captures the essence of the coastal landscape in a captivating collage of positive words. The piece serves as an impressionistic portrayal of the dynamic meeting point between the land and the ocean, where nature's beauty is interwoven with a mosaic of uplifting words. As you immerse yourself in this visual journey, the subtle color changes of the seascape from an aerial perspective unfold, offering a one-of-a-kind viewpoint that celebrates the union of positivity and the compelling forces of nature.'Golden Warruwi' is a very detailed artwork with colour crossing over one another to create effect. An artwork to express how nature is free to do whatever it wants, without expectations. This work is specific to the colours of the Warruwi beaches in the Northern Territory and how they intertwine creating a dance of their own. It is not intended to be too literal and so allows you to see whatever you can find.

Accentuated with strokes of metallic gold paint, the artwork introduces a touch of opulence. Gold, renowned for its connotations of abundance, mental equilibrium, and vitality, is intended to bestow a sense of success and happiness upon the observer. The incorporation of gold seeks to infuse comfort, kindness, and a hint of elegance into the viewer's life, establishing a deeper connection with the natural world. The liberal application of gold throughout the piece contributes to an overall atmosphere of liberation and unrestricted expression.Metallic gold light blue painting art water sea oceanModern abstract artwork titled ‘Red Funk’ displayed in a gallery, featuring wavy crisscrossing lines and shapes in shades of red, orange, and green, inspired by the 1960s and 1970s funk music.”
