This is another painting whereby I let the pigmented inks flow and create markings and new tones under glad wrap. The design work is based on some long gone lily plants I had growing in the garden.
"Love Me Tender no. II" is the end result with a spray of vibrant orange blooms with their stems and leaves at different stages of life in contrast to an abstract backdrop of blues, purples, red, turquoise and interspersed with lines and splashes of white.
Original painting re-imagined in February 2024. Signed on the front. Blues and turquoise inks continued around the sides.
