Morning sunlight over a waterlily pond in the garden. The luminescent feel and the ethereal misty light playing over the water contribute to the mystery of this painting. It is soft and soothing with sparkles of light that catch your eye. I have been fortunate enough to see Monet’s lily ponds and I love visiting ours in the Brisbane botanical gardens and I have tried to bring my own interpretation to these beautiful flowers.

A wintry image with outlying farm buildings on the edge of a lake. There is an olde world feel to this piece with its gentle colour and calming air. There are two pines standing guard over the barn and the edges of the lake on both sides are tall and spare of leaves. I love the feel of this piece and I hope you enjoy it too. The treatment of the scene elevates the piece to a modern take on an olde world, classic piece that has been given a fresh take. A soft watery view of a river inlet alive with light and energy. Soothing and dreamy. The colours are softly muted ad flow in the water into dreamy reflections. This is a soothing piece that will add sparkle and beauty to your room with its soaring sky and gentle water movements.A peaceful scene of the river with calm water, reflections and a beautiful sky. A little slice of heaven here on Earth. This is from my memory of afternoons on a river cruise in Europe. Deep shadows in the afternoon across the Lily pond with reflections of the grasses and stalks of plants surrounding it. There are patches of blue sky reflected amongst the lily pads and a stunning bloom in soft mauve catching the afternoon sun. This is a reflective piece than will bring calm.
