About

Hi and welcome to my work, I am Julie,  a realistic painter.I want to help YOU realise YOUR vision on canvas. I paint to Reflect the Need to Cherish our Earth. Are you missing something?I regret all the beautiful scenes I missed, you know the ones, a fleeting scene, when you grabbed your camera but the photo was so disappointing. That picture which leaves a hole in your heart because it failed to capture your vision? Do you feel the loss, the lingering emptiness? I do.Each of mine hurt so much, I attempted to capture them in paint. I wanted to evoke the energy and story I had missed, The paintings helped but still I needed more, so I went on a mission, seeking help. I learnt to fulfil my dream and feed my obsession to capture the vision. When you see your special moment captured realistically in paint, you will be amazed.  You too can feel the fulfilment of at last having a painting of that lost image. Fill that special place in your heart, allow yourself peace and remove the lingering disappointment.Contact me through Bluethumb, so you can own your vision! For my own award winning work I reflect the world around me capturing nature at its best, including its ability to reduce and reuse the precious nutrients to produce an ever more stunning natural environment.  I paint in oils and watercolours, my paintings are a fresh and often detailed reflection of the world around me and the places I have visited. I am passionate about protecting this precious world of ours. I paint because I can't live without it, I am happy to paint that special picture just for you. I hope you will join me on this journey celebrating our beautiful planet.I am represented by Bluethumb and The Montville Art Gallery, and am exhibiting in various group shows where I have had a number of successes including winning the Lethbridge 10,000 Small Scale Art Award for 2014, and the EKKA Still Life prize in 2013 and 2015.
