About Kirsten Sivyer

Kirsten Sivyer is a West Australian professional photographer and visual artist. In her artistic photographic work she combines elements of painting, drawing & etching techniques with photography and digital processes to create layered imagery which she reproduces in a series of limited edition prints. Her most recent photographic series incorporates historical and contemporary images of Perth and Fremantle’s heritage buildings which she builds in layers to create visual narratives telling the story of the building’s uses and changes over time.
