My series in South East Asia was focused around the experience provided to and enjoyed by tourists - the downfalls and the realities behind the picture perfect travel photos. I focused on how crowds of tourists gathered at major attractions, and how the locals experienced interactions with travellers.
This image was taken exploring the hidden corners of the Imperial Citadel in Hanoi. While the entire place was busy with people, this little garden was tucked away and deserted. I love the sense of serenity and seclusion it has. For me, it's a peaceful escape from the daily life.
