DESCRIPTION

In this series, I reflect on the life of my father, who grew up during the second world war in Austria.

The Alpenrose is a flower only found in the Alpine regions of Europe. I have used this as a symbol to depict the cultural similarities of the bordering countries in this region. The same cultures that have fought many wars against each over the centuries.

This artwork was created using crafting clay and lighting effects.
