This hidden gem south of Adelaide can be found at Second Valley. The cliffs of the South Australian coastline provides a secluded bay, and a concrete and timber jetty makes a dog leg as it just out into the water. The beauty of the place emerges as the sun disappears and the lights from the jetty reveal the emerald water. I spent two hours here, getting to know the context, but it was this fleeting colour that most inspired me.
This photograph would be well placed illuminated by a spotlight or facing an open window because of its velvety tones. It is available on Museo Portfolio Rag if being formally framed or on Hahnemuhle canvas for stretching. Please contact me if you have any queries.
Only 10 prints of this will ever be sold, five in this larger size and five in a smaller A2 format.
